July is UFO Challenge Month. Eight guild participants will display UFOs completed in the past six months. Membership will enjoy seeing these complete projects and will vote for “Viewer’s Choice”. August is the annual Jumble Sale. This year no fee or table registration is necessary. Only items that are sewing or quilting related will be accepted for sale. Join us for this annual fun event!

PROJECTS TO DYE FOR! She is a nurse, quilt maker, fiber artist, painter – she is our own Angie Madden and she will be presenting our JUNE program. Angie will be “Exploring Surface Design with MX Procion Dyes.” She will have an introduction, demonstrate and have samples of direct application, mono-printing, marbleizing, using wax resist with thickened dye, and colored soy wax resist with background thickened dye. At the end of the program, she will have a hand out for each member.
The JULY program will be the UFO Challenge.
AUGUST will be the annual Jumble sale. There will be NO reserving tables this year, it will be a first come, first served (if you like, you may also bring your own table). Also, there will be no fee. The one rule for the sale will be: quilt and sewing items only! The Jumble Sale Police will ask you to take other items back to your car. So, start cleaning out your library, stash and miscellaneous sewing and quilting items, and join the sale.
