We had a wonderful time at the opening of the Guild’s first art show at the Dragonfly Gallery in Milton, Florida. We had 30 pieces made by 13 different quilters. I so appreciate Cena, Zandy, Angie, Jeanne, Shanon, and Pam for all of their hard work at the opening.
The quilts will hang at the gallery until April 12th.
Sheree Jimmerson’s Quilt that she entered into the Thread Tails and Vapor Trails is traveling the country. This was a special challenge set up to celebrate the 100 years of Naval Aviation in Pensacola, Florida. Here is a picture of it hanging at the Road to California’s Quilt Show. Congratulations Sheree and thanks for letting us share this with others.

Several members of the Pensacola Quilters Guild entered quilts into the Gulf States Quilting Association 2010 Quilt Show that was held in June in Louisiana. It was great fun to see them hanging.

“Leaf Symphony Remixed” traveled for a year with the Batik Remix Contest. It was made by Jennifer Bunnell.
