OCTOBER 20, 2011 – Quilts With a Twist owner Lisa Moore is an accomplished designer, teacher and lecturer. Lisa is a retired electrical engineer living on Silver Bay in Sitka Alaska. Her designs are unique and her teaching methods are clear and easy to understand. I had the opportunity to meet Lisa and take one of her classes last year and invited her to teach a class and present a program for us this year. She will present her program “Terrific Tidbits” every quilter should know, and will include a trunk show. I know you all will not want to miss this program!
Please have your “thank you” block for outgoing president, Kathy Bullard made and turned in by the December meeting. She has chosen a 6” (6 1/2” unfinished) Friendship Star. Copies of the pattern and sample will be at the October 20 meeting.
Thursday, NOVEMBER 17, 2011 – The program will be our own guild member Bunny Cummins – and as you all know – she never fails to entertain and delight. Thursday, DECEMBER 15, 2011 – Installation of 2012 Officers, Friendship Stars presented to Kathy Bullard, potluck Christmas party with tablescape contest.
