COMMUNITY QUILTS

Our Guild members make small quilts that are donated to several community charity organizations. We accept donations of quality quilt fabric and supplies to help us meet the local need. Opportunity Quilt

"Pieces of Pensacola"

Gerri Dewey and Charlotte Hinds coordinated the assembly of this quilt top to which members donated fabric and time. Fifty-nine members sewed blocks and contributed hours of hand- applique' for the center and for the Pensacola Silhouettes created by our own Sandy Hill. There are 2,144 two inch squares in this quilt! Picking the layout, making kits, and then herding cats was all part of their job description this year. They did a wonderful job - PLEASE thank them when you see them!
