2023 Block of the Month Challenge

The idea for this Block of the Month started with the Hawaiian-style quilt Sandy Hill made a few years ago.  Several of these designs were used in that quilt. Participants should use their own creativity and ideas to make the designs and blocks their own. The blocks are designed for the foregrounds to align at the lower corners, at the 1-inch mark, so they can be set side-by-side, sashed, laid out in a "round robin," etc. The extra palm tree blocks can be used to end a row or to set diagonally as corner blocks. We are accepting suggestions from members for the design for Block #12.  Let us know what it should be.

Patterns are being created from the pictures below.  They will be distributed one month at a time at the monthly Guild Meetings.
